Arriving at Niagara Falls

I biked 11miles this evening and have arrived at Niagara Falls. They're so beautiful.

Next stop on my virtual bike tour is Liberty State Park to see the Statue of Liberty. Unlike Niagara Falls, I've never seen the Statue of Liberty in person. I would love to someday. Total miles from the Falls to the Statue, via Syracuse, is 412. Another nice long ride ahead. :)

Ten miles to go until I reach Niagara Falls, NY.

My virtual trip has taken a little longer than I'd planned, being derailed for two weeks by a cold, but I'm back on track and have only ten more miles to go. I just crossed over onto Grand Island. I'm getting excited to see the Falls; should be there later this evening.

186 miles to go.

I started riding my stationary bike on August 5, 2012. After two weeks of riding, I decided it would be fun to have a destination. For no particular reason other than I'd been there as a kid, I choose Niagara Falls, which is 484 miles away.

Today, I stopped just outside Cleveland, OH; a pretty port town situated on Lake Erie. As I gain more stamina, I hope to make the rest of the trip to Niagara Falls in a couple more weeks.
